Matthew Jacques

Matthew Jacques

Matthew specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. He provides a compassionate, client-centered space where people of all ages can explore their experiences, gain insight, and begin writing new chapters in their lives. His primary focus is on young adults ages 18 to 25—a formative period for building identity, independence, and direction for the future. Matthew’s goal is to help clients navigate this transition from dependence to independence through a strength-based and empowering approach.

His therapeutic work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), emphasizing self-awareness and personal growth. By helping clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and belief systems developed over time, he supports meaningful and lasting change.

Matthew’s approach to therapy is rooted in openness and respect for diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. He believes that genuine connection and shared understanding are essential for personal growth, healing, and resilience.
