Integrating the philosophy of “Being as Gift” into experiential theories such as EFT allows for exploring deeper thoughts about one’s purpose in life. This philosophy highlights who we are as humans and shifts the value from what we do to who we are. So often we do not learn this message in today’s society or from our Families of Origin. Sometimes we need help shifting our views and learning to validate and affirm our unique emotions and experiences. Vanessa believes in expanding discussion on both positive and negative experiences as outlined in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).

Vanessa accompanies families, couples and individuals in the journey to discover hope and joy through live’s many challenges. She enjoys helping families from all backgrounds discover new ways to resolve conflict. Vanessa is skilled at identifying underlying emotions and cycles/patterns using EFT and assists families break the cycle so they can create healthier ones. Identifying, “the cycle as the problem,” helps resolve conflicts and provides ease into moving into positive patterns with better ways to communicate. Many skills learned in therapy can be practiced at home so families and couples can continue to succeed after therapy ends.
