Vanessa Grace Fagnant

Vanessa holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (M.F.T.) from Regis University and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Studies (M.T.S.) from the John Paul II Institute. She is certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and is expanding her services to include Neurofeedback. Vanessa is also under mentorship to become certified in Biofeedback.

She integrates the philosophy of “Being as Gift” into experiential approaches such as EFT, encouraging clients to explore their sense of purpose and identity. This perspective emphasizes the value of who we are rather than what we do—a message that can be lost in today’s fast-paced world or within our Families of Origin. Vanessa helps clients reframe their experiences, validate their emotions, and grow in self-understanding. She also draws on Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) to support healing through both positive and difficult emotional experiences.

Vanessa enjoys accompanying families, couples, and individuals on their journey toward greater hope and joy. She helps families identify and shift unhelpful emotional patterns using EFT, guiding them to see “the cycle as the problem” rather than each other. Through this process, clients learn healthier ways to communicate and connect. The skills gained in therapy often extend well beyond sessions, empowering families and couples to continue growing long after therapy ends.
